„Ein Hauch von Luxus für besondere Momente.“

Château Thomas- Laurent zählt in der Weinbauregion Bordeaux zu den renommierten Châteaus. Heute bewirtschaftet bereits die vierte Generation der Familie Chapron das in Etaulier (nördlich der Gironde) 50km von Bordeaux entfernt, in der Appellation 1er Côtes de Blaye, liegende Weingut.

„Château Mouton Rothschild/Paulliac liegt am gegenüberliegenden Ufer.“ Beide Weingüter verfügen über ähnliche klimatische Bedingungen, die beste Voraussetzung für charaktervolle Rotweine. Die ersten Generationen führten die Domaine auf der Grundlage von Weinbau und Viehzucht. Als Didier Chapron 1989 die Leitung übernahm, legte er den Fokus auf Weinbau und Spargel. Inzwischen erfolgt die Weinproduktion gemäß den Vorgaben für den naturnahen Anbau (la Lutte Raisonnée) zum Schutz der Umwelt.

Die 17ha Weinberg sind hauptsächlich mit der Rebsorte Merlot, die den Weinen ihre runde und weiche Struktur sowie Elegnaz und Fülle gibt, bestockt. Das Terroir aus Lehm-Kies und Kies-Sand bietet perfekte Wachstumsbedingungen für die Reben. Im Weinberg werden die Arbeiten mit großer Sorgfalt von Hand ausgeführt, um bei der Lese qualitativ hochwertiges Lesegut zu erhalten. Lese zum perfekten Reifezeitpunkt, leichte Pressung der Trauben, Temperatur kontrollierte Fermentation in Edelstahltanks (bewahren der Aromen frischer Früchte), Ausbau in Barriques aus Eichenholz. In den Weinen vereinen sich jahrhundertealte Tradition und das Können des Winzers zu einem nahezu perfekten Wein für kleines Geld.

Purpurrote Farbe im Glas. In der Nase intensive Aromen schwarzer Früchte (Johannisbeeren, Brombeeren, Himbeeren) sowie Gewürze. Im Mund viel Finesse und Eleganz, harmonisch mit strukturierten, samtigen Tanninen bis zum langen Abgang. Reifepotential!

Bordeaux Château Thomas-Laurent ist mit einer Trinktemperatur von 17-18°C passend zu kräftigen Fleischsorten (Lamm), aber auch Geflügel, Flusskrebse, Pasta oder Pizza und Käse.

Ein authentischer Bordeaux mit bemerkenswerter Eleganz – ein Wein für Genießer, die Qualität, Tradition und ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Genuss-Verhältnis zu schätzen wissen.
